The project
The Ebswien Hauptkläranlage wastewater treatment plant works with internal and external stakeholders. Workers’ representatives share the public with information on open-door days, including water and waste instruction for children.
The refineries also have an impact on their suppliers: one supplier was asked to replace road freight transport by rail to avoid 135 tonnes of CO 2 emissions.
This Viennese wastewater treatment plant won the European Commission’s EMAS Award in 2011.
KFS Finland Oy started a new job site in cooperation with Kellergrundbau in Austria.
The execution included the foundation of 6 waste water tanks with 396 columns with a diameter of 1.5m and a 150m2 water tight excavation pit with jet grouting as pit support and sealing slab.
