Aatu Hento has joined the team of KFS Finland’s special foundation builders as a newly graduated Bachelor of Construction and Civil Engineering and has now been appointed as a permanent Site Supervisor.
Aatu’s diverse experience in the construction industry began with hands-on work on construction sites. In 2021, he began his engineering studies, during which he completed his site supervisor internship at KFS Finland and participated in several large-scale projects. In addition to that, he has gained experience on smaller construction sites, carpenter work in his father’s company, and even a unique summer job assisting the first mate on the Rymättylä ferry.
–I’m most looking forward to taking on more responsibility and managing projects from start to finish, Aatu says.
According to him, the first weeks in the new role have gone smoothly, and his expectations for the position have been met. Having become familiar with supervisory duties during his studies and already knowing his friendly colleagues has made it easier to succeed in the new role right from the start.
